Divorce is a long and painful process. There will be so many times where you will feel you have finally reached closure only to have something happen that makes you realise you’re not even close.
When you do finally reach closure, that point where you say to yourself “Yes, I am happier without you”, it is an amazing feeling.
I find that writing letters to my former or younger self often helps me realise just how far I’ve come in life through the challenges I’ve faced. Most people who write a letter to their past selves find it very beneficial.

and gain inner peace.
